For the equipement, you need : gloves, (transparent) basin with a large rim, strip of fabric (cotton), graduated cylinder, weighing scale, small dish, spoon.

For the equipement, you need : gloves, (transparent) basin with a large rim, strip of fabric (cotton), graduated cylinder, weighing scale, small dish, spoon.

As substances we needed : solid carbon dioxide, water, dish soap, sugar, glycerin.

When we add 50mL of water, ,10g of sugar, 40mL of dish soap, 20mL of water and 80 mL again it creates a big bubble. To identify the prescence of liquid water we use anhyfrous copper sulfate (it becomes blue in the prescence of water)

Observations :

It look like an ice block. It's made of carbon dioxide. It's extra cold, it's temperature is -78,5°C. When we put wateronh it, it creates a cloud. The cloud is made of water became anydrous copper sulfate becomes blue.
